​This is the "Fun" choice. The ZST doesn't try to be a flat, boring studio monitor. It’s tuned to be energetic and "bright." ​The Trade-Off

​The "Spicy" Highs. Because this is an older design, the treble can be a bit sharp (we call it "sibilant"). If you listen at 100% volume, high-pitched "S" and "T" sounds in vocals can occasionally feel like a tiny needle in your ear. It’s a "bright" listen, not a "warm" one. Also, the build is fully plastic—it doesn't have the "heft" of the metal 7Hz G1 or the CCA C10.

​Vault Member Tip: To get the best sound out of these, the "seal" is everything. If they sound thin or like there's no bass, try a larger ear tip size from the box. A tight seal turns these from "okay" to "incredible."
