​The KZ EDCX was designed with a singular focus: to aggressively lower the barrier to entry for high-fidelity audio. Instead of using experimental materials, KZ engineers took the most reliable, industry-standard component—a 6-micron PET dynamic diaphragm—and meticulously tuned the acoustic cavity to match the highly sought-after "Harman Target" curve. • ​10mm PET Dynamic Driver: At its core is a tried-and-true 6-micron Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) diaphragm. By perfectly adjusting the voice coil height and internal damping, KZ achieved a stunningly clean sound output that punches far above its weight class.
